This is my first blog (kind of, there was a 7th grade project but that doesn't count)! I'm not sure what I'm going to put on here, but I guess I could explain the website name. I've had two fish over the years and I had the idea to log them. So here it is, The Fish Tank. I noticed the URL was already taken so whoever's website is named The Fish Tank already I apologize but I couldn't think of a better name.

I've never had a blog before where I just write anything I want so I might post some pretty random stuff. Right now I'm at a family member's house and they have 2 injured baby rabbits. They're about 2 days old at most. Their dog, being a retriever, started attacking the nest. Two have died, and one is likely about to (his name is Mozzie), (it makes me sad seeing them and thinking of the inevitable) but one is still holding on! Espresso looks like it has a cut and possibily sprained leg, but has managed to keep moving. It moves a lot, which is surprising, but it might think I'm a predator and trying to harm them. Hopefully he'll last at least a week so he has a chance to open his eyes. If his eyes open, he has a really good chance of survival.

I apologize if this is not the right way to do it, but we've been doing our best. We have it in a box on a heat pad under a towel, with another towel made to resemble a nest. We're feeding them goat milk formula originally made for cats but we read that it's the best option. We've been feeding them about every 2 hours, and we're hoping it'll keep eating and get enough nutrients. We're praying that both survive but the other one has a deep neck cut and isn't moving or eating much. I would end on a brighter note but I'm getting tired and can't keep typing so I'm going to stop about here and work on the website source code.
