Welcome to The Fish Tank! I'm a student wanting to learn more about web development and have a fondness for old websites with this look, especially ones like eBay or Amazon. I like their look and I got excited about Neocities when I found out about it, along with the indie site movement (movement? is that the right word?). I don't really care for the colorful backgrounds or cheesy MIDIs (although I might add some later, who knows), but I do love old tech. If I had to live in any era, I'd probably choose to live in the early 2000s.
